For more than 25 years, Doña Ana County and our schools have partnered together to give students the opportunity to showcase their creativity in a public space.

✨ Thrive Thursday Spotlight ✨

This Thrive Thursday, we’re digging into the story of an educator who helps students grow in every sense of the word!

Jessica Hardy is an exceptional 4th grade teacher at Valley View Elementary who consistently goes above and beyond for our students and school community. As the Garden Club sponsor, she dedicates countless hours to keeping the school garden blooming and beautiful, creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that connect gardening to academics, social-emotional learning, and inclusive practices.

Ms. Hardy has written multiple grants to sustain and expand the garden program and has attended national conferences to deepen her expertise in integrating outdoor learning with academic standards. Her commitment ensures students benefit from innovative, research-based opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.

In addition to her work in the classroom and garden, Ms. Hardy serves as the school’s Academic Team Lead and co-sponsors the Student Leadership Team, empowering students to grow as both scholars and leaders.

Ms. Hardy truly embodies the spirit of THRIVE, making a lasting impact at Valley View Elementary and helping it continue to blossom into a place where every student can thrive. 🌻

On-Site Family Support Now Available Every Wednesday at LCPS Family Support Center

The heartbeat of Las Cruces Public Schools isn’t just found in our classrooms, it’s felt the moment you walk through our doors.

These incredible professionals are the friendly faces who welcome you into our vibrant schools and buildings each day. They are the organizers, planners, schedulers, problem-solvers, and quiet champions working tirelessly behind the scenes to support students, staff, and families. Their dedication keeps everything moving forward, often without fanfare, but always with heart.

Today at the 2026 LCPS Office Professionals Conference, the legendary professional speaker Maureen G. Mulvaney delivered an electrifying presentation that energized the room and won the hearts of our amazing team. Her powerful message sparked meaningful conversations, inspired fresh perspectives, and reminded us all of the profound impact our office professionals make every single day.

Their work is more than a job, it’s the foundation of connection, care, and excellence across our district.

Because of them, we ALL Thrive in the 575.
